Mr. Carlos L. Hall, 61, of Norristown died Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro following an extended illness.

Mr. Hall was born August 12, 1952 in Lawton, Oklahoma to the late Carlos E. Hall and Natalie Doye Hall. He was preceded in death by his son, Derrick Lynn Hall.  Mr. Hall was a life long resident of Emanuel County.  Mr. Hall worked with Tanner Timber Company as a truck driver until retiring in 2011.  He loved fishing and gardening.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Patsy Hall of Norristown; son, Chris Hall of Norristown; daughter, Jennifer (Nathan) Smith of Sandersville; brothers, Dennis “Knocker” (Beth) Hall of Norristown and Wayne (Karen) Hall of Soperton; sisters, Debra (Harris) Giles of Soperton, Madelyne (Dale) Meeks of Lyons, Teresa (Jessie) Weeks of Soperton; grandchildren, Savannah Smith, Nicholas Smith, Katie Lynn Smith all of Sandersville, Gage Hall of Swainsboro and Darin Dobson of Adrian; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning, June 7, 2014 with Reverend Allen Meeks officiating.  Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Norristown.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday evening, June 6, 2014 at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Danny Wayne Faircloth, Ben Faircloth, Ronnie Newsome, Mitchell Meeks, Jamey Chalker and Dewayne Edwards.

Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Carlos L. Hall; 1507 Halls Bridge Rd. Swainsboro, GA 30401.
