Mrs. Carmen Mercedes Hernandez, 33, of Swainsboro died Tuesday June 4, 2013 at her residence following a brief illness.
Mr. Hernandez was born in Mexico and lived in Swainsboro for the past seven years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Swainsboro and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Hipolito Cortez Hernandez of Swiansboro; daughter, Mia Hernandez of Swainsboro; sons, Patrick Hernandez and Michael Milner both of Swainsboro; parents, Jose Genaro Martinez Villegas and Maria Guadalupe Centeno Orosco of Mexico; and several relatives and friends.
Memorial Mass was held in Holy Trinity Catholic Church Friday, June 7, 2013 at 6:00 o’clock with Priest Raj Koppula and Deacon Rey Morales officiating.
