Carol Lee (Meeks) Joiner

Mrs. Carol Lee Joiner, 78, of Davisboro passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, at her daughter’s residence in Sandersville following an extended illness.  She was born December 3, 1945, in Milledgeville to the late Tommy Sanders and Estelle Blizzard Meeks.  She was preceded in death by her brother, William “Clarence” Meeks and her grandson, Michael Alexander “Alex” Costley.  When she was able, Carol loved to work in her flower beds, her favorite flower being the tulip.  More than anything, she loved her chihuahuas!

Mrs. Joiner is survived by her husband, James Joiner of Davisboro, her children, Milton Costley (Janet) of Kite, Georgia Ballard (Jason Moyer) of Sandersville; her grandchildren, Thomas Stokes (Tori) of Harrison, Stefany Franklin (William) of Tennille, Adam Costley (Sam’Mya) of Kite, great-grandchildren, Emily Franklin, Lawson Franklin and Comla’Rose Costley.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at her daughter’s residence in Sandersville.
