Carolyn Loretta Chalker

Mrs. Carolyn Loretta Chalker, 83, of Swainsboro passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, at Emanuel County Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Chalker was born December 22, 1938, in Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steve Chalker.  Mrs. Carolyn was a LPN and retired from Emanuel County Nursing Home.  She loved her cats and loved coloring.  She was an avid Braves fan.

Survivors include her sons, Billy (Kim) Chalker of Gastonia, N.C., Johnny (Lori) Chalker of Swainsboro; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and other family members.

Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2022, at Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleums with Mr. Cameron Kennison officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Chapman Funeral Home.
