Carolyn Tillman Habersham

Mrs. Carolyn Tillman Habersham, 69, of Swainsboro passed away on July 8, 2026, at her residence. She was born on September 19, 1956, in Swainsboro to the late Herbert Tillman and Mary Lee Corley Tillman.

For more than 60 years, Carolyn was a faithful and devoted member of Smith Grove Baptist Church of Swainsboro Ga. She attended Swainsboro High School and graduated Class of 1974 and later went on to attend what is now Savannah St University which led to her working in the Emanuel County Education System for over 20 years. She was definitely one of a kind, very generous and loving person who touched the lives of many in her 69 years of life on this earth. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her classy diva style and that luxurious white hair. She was dearly loved by all whomever she crossed paths with and will be most certainly missed. 

She is survived by her husband, Roy Lee Habersham of Swainsboro; son, Marques Wynn of Swainsboro; granddaughters, Jaia Wynn, Syraia Wynn, Jayden Wynn, Jurnee Wynn; bonus daughter, Rochelda Lawrence Frison (Matthew) of Garfield; brothers, Ricky Tillman (Floria), Randy Tillman (Angel) both of Swainsboro; sisters, Helen Monroe of Swainsboro, Belinda Gail Mincey-McCray of Columbia, SC.; bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at St Philip Baptist Church with Pastor Rashan Gibbons officiating and Pastor Mark Wise presiding.

Interment will follow in Swainsboro City Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.
