Carolyn Euyvonne Mimbs

Mrs. Carolyn Euyvonne Mimbs, 71, of Adrian passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Serenity Hospice in Dublin following an extended illness.

Mrs. Mimbs was born June 5, 1948 in Summertown, GA. to the late James David Beckworth and Bertha Downs Beckworth. She was preceded in death by her parents; as well as siblings, Nolan, Tommy, Jimmy, and Ann. Mrs. Mimbs enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to Y96 Classic Country Jukebox on Saturday nights, cooking for her family, and playing spades. She was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include her husband, Duaine Mimbs of Adrian; son, Joseph Duaine Mimbs, Jr. of Garfield; daughters, Angie Walker (Dale) ,Vickie Hutcheson both of Meeks and Karen Atkins (Daniel) of North Augusta, S.C.; brother, Donnie Beckworth of Swainsboro; sister, Margie Martin of Swainsboro ; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

The family will have an informal drop in Celebration of life service Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 4 to 6 p.m. at 131 Mimbs-Coleman Rd. Adrian, GA. 31002
