Mr. Cason Thomas Rogers, 28, of Dalzell, South Carolina passed away Monday, June 8, 2026. He was born on May 8, 1998, in Statesboro to Brian Edward Rogers and Ann McLeod Rogers.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Martin and Gwen Rogers and maternal grandparents, Jack and Cheri McLeod.

After graduating from Swainsboro High School in 2016, Cason moved down to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College where he received an associates degree in Science. This was before he transferred to Georgia Southern University to complete his Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies. In recent years he has worked diligently for Eaton Corporation as a builder and coordinator, who enjoyed training others.

What people think of when they hear the name “Cason Rogers”, however, is not his degree or accomplishments; rather, they consider the joy it was to be gifted with his presence. He had the ability to give the warmest bear hugs and kindest smiles that can make anyone feel welcome, and he certainly made an effort to make everyone feel welcome.

It has been said time and again that our beloved son and brother was a “big boy who loved even bigger” and this could not be more true! He loved his family, his friends, his coworkers, and though he had no enemies, he would have loved them too. And with a different sort of love, he enjoyed the typical hunting and fishing, evening video games with friends, aggravating his siblings, camping trips with cousins, golfing with dad, and disc golfing with family! This being said, as you pass by a pond or a disc golf course, consider Cason and rejoice to have known him. Pray that the Lord would give us the same hospitality and kindness that he gave Cason.

Cason is survived by his parents, Brian and Ann Rogers of Swainsboro; brothers, Dustin Rogers (Erin), Evan Rogers (Hannah Payton); sister, FaithAnn Rogers; nephew, Emmitt Rogers; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Swainsboro. Cason will lie in state one hour prior to funeral services.

Interment will follow at Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Justin Hackle, David Spalding, Kyle Brock, Kevin Brock, Devin Hall, and Ashton Bellamy.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Cason Rogers may be made to The Sunshine House Regional Children's Advocacy Center, 328 West Main Street, Swainsboro, Georgia, or to Wounded Warriors Retreat, P.O. Box 782, Swainsboro, Georgia.
