Charles George Breedlove

February 17, 1953 — December 5, 2013

Mr. Charles George Breedlove, 60, of Swainsboro died Thursday night, December 5, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Breedlove was born in Virginia to the late Marvin Breedlove and Mary Hager Breedlove.  He was preceded in death by his sister Peggy Breedlove.  Mr. Breedlove served in the United States Army, and United States Air Force.  He was an avid TV watcher, loved fishing, playing darts and shooting pool.  Mr. Breedlove was employed with Byrd Trucking until he became disabled.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his companion of 17 years, Rita Wilkerson of Swainsboro; son, C. G. Breedlove of Swainsboro; daughter Tracie (Chris) Hood of Adrian; brother, Marvin (Helen) Breedlove of Maryland; sister, Mary (Buddy) Horny of Maryland; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2013 with Rev. Roger Holley officiating.  Interment will be in the Red Bluff Cemetery near Soperton.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening, December 7, 2013 at Chapman Funeral Home.
