Cherry Gwendolyn (Gordy) Wilkerson

Mrs. Cherry Gwendolyn Wilkerson, 69, of Twin City passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Wilkerson was born September 7, 1952, in Swainsboro to Walter Gray Gordy and Vera Gladys Lawson Gordy. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Wilkerson; daughter, Tracy Lynn Bird; sisters, Gloria Ann Davis, Geraldine Rich, Terrie Averett; brother, Charles Gordy.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Samantha Autumn Bird of Swainsboro, Christopher Bird, Jr. of Augusta, Roy Brandon Bird of Twin City; son-in-law, Chris Bird of Swainsboro; 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Memorial Service will be private and at a later date.
