Mrs. Cheryl S. Farley, 60, of Swainsboro passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro following a brief illness.

Mrs. Farley was born March 5, 1954 in Eastman to Hoyt Selph and Monette S. Selph.  She was preceded in death by her father, Hoyt Selph.  Mrs. Farley lived in Eastman and Thompson until 2010 when she moved to Swainsboro.   She graduated from Telfair High School and received a registered nurse degree from Middle Georgia.  Mrs. Farley loved gardening and was a member of Dellwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Joshua (Nicole) Farley and Allen (Katrina) Farley both of Swainsboro; brother, Vernon (Gail) Selph of Birmingham AL; sister, Alicia (Ed) Graham of Eastman; grandchildren, Kylee Farley, Allen M. Farley, Ann Farley and Brandon Farley all of Swainsboro, Cheyenne Farley and Kyle Farley both of Thompson; 2 nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, February 4, 2015 with Reverend Joe Bedgood officiating.

Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Old Daniels Baptist Church Cemetery in Eastman.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening, February 3, 2015 at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Lloyd, James Ward, Jamie Chalker, Chris Headrick, Ricky Thurman and Milton Wynn.

Honorary Pallbearers are the Swainsboro Fire Department and Medixx Transport Service.
