Miss. Christy L. McNure, 44, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday night, December 30, 2017 at Emanuel Medical Center following and extended illness.
Miss. McNure was born January 20, 1973 in Metter, Ga. to the late Lamar McNure and Jeanette Wiggins Kirkland. She was preceded in death by her parents; paternal grandparents, Joe and Martha McNure; Maternal grandparents, Cordie and Dora Mae Wiggins. Miss. McNure loved dancing, singing, and being the boss. She was a member of Blundale Baptist Church.
Survivors include her step-father, Bill Kirkland (Teresa) of Midville; brother, Darrell McNure (Karen) of Swainsboro; sisters, Cherish Kidd (Dustin) of Vidalia, Morgan McNure of Swainsboro, and Sara Rodgers of Gibson; special niece, Kailey McNure; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 1, 2018 with Reverends Jim Harrell and Rusty Moore officiating.
Interment will follow in the Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, January 1, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Rod Wiggins, Matthew Wiggins, Wesley Wiggins, Dennis Kirkland, Jimmy Atkins, Jerry McNure, Charlie Wilson, and Mark Kirby.
