Mrs. Clyde Williamson, 95, of Garfield died Sunday, December 25, 2011 at the Emanuel County Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Williamson was born in Emanuel County were she lived all of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents Cellus Wiggins and Clara Kent Wiggins, sons, Edward Williamson and Larry Williamson.
Mrs. Williamson loved tending to her garden and working in her flower beds.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Williamson of Canoochee; sisters, Hortence of Millen and Peggy of Augusta; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews
Graveside services will be held at the Elam Baptist Church Cemetery at 11 o’clock Wednesday morning December 28, 2011 with Reverend Kevin Farmer officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday December 27, 2011 at Chapman Funeral Home.
