Colleen Slater Duckworth

Mrs. Colleen Slater Duckworth, 70, of Stillmore passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Emanuel Medical Center. She was born on October 12, 1954, in Lyons to the late Harry Slater and Marilyn Monroe Slater.

Colleen was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Randy Slater.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Duckworth of Stillmore; sons, Daniel Duckworth and Tyler Duckworth, both of Stillmore; daughter, Samantha McDaniel (Robbie) of Bishop; brother, Keith Slater of Stillmore; sisters, Beverly Johnson of Kenfield and Judy Boatright of Stillmore; grandchildren, J.R. McDaniel, Hope Armstrong, Jacob McDaniel, Jayson McDaniel; 2 great-grandchildren, Monroe McDaniel and Sadie McDaniel.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Stillmore Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend George Archer officiating.

Interment will be in Stillmore City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 15, 2025, at Chapman Funeral Home.
