Mrs. Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Kersey, 61, of Swainsboro died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Kersey born in Savannah later moved to Arkansas and to other states with her father that was in the military. In 1990 she moved to Swainsboro to take care of her parents. She was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris Flanders and Marguerite Wade Flanders; granddaughter, Haleigh Juel Cloud.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Mike Kersey of Swainsboro, daughters; Heather (Jason) Cloud of Blytheville, AR and Marcie (Ashley) Aycock of Savannah; sisters, Mamie Chandler of Savannah and Linda Bishop of Waynesboro; grandchildren; Blake Cloud of Baltimore, MD, Sydney Cloud of Blytheville, AR and Ember Aycock of Savannah.
Memorial service will be at the Ebenezer Methodist Church at 4:00p.m. Monday, August 17, 2015 with Reverend Clarence Thompson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3:00p.m. until time of service.
