Mr. Dale Pernell, 58, of Kite passed away Thursday Morning, February 11, 2016 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Pernell was born July 6, 1957 in Swainsboro, Ga. to Laudice Pernell and Evie Dell Cooper Pernell. He was preceded in death by his father, Laudice Pernell, brothers, J.L. Pernell, and Arnold Pernell. Mr. Pernell was in construction, he enjoyed building houses, love to grill and listening to the classic country jukebox. He also liked spending time with his two dogs Dori and Paco.
Survivors include his mother, Evie Dell Cooper Pernell of Kite; companion, Patsy Burris of Kite; sons, Mark Kersey of Norristown and Michael Kersey of Macon; daughters, Tracy Pernell and Tabatha Pernell both of Kite; brothers, Gary Pernell and Frank Pernell both of Kite; sisters, Willaine (Harrison) Rowland, JoAnn (Runt) Hackle, Beverly (Glen) Gay all of Kite, and Paula (Mike) Roberts of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Dylon Love, Jacob Mason, Michael Dale Bush all of Kite, Byron Grant Kersey of Macon, and Brylie Pernell of Adrian; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, February 13, 2016 with Reverend Burt Flanders officiating.
Interment will follow in the Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm. Friday afternoon, February 12, 2016 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Nephews.
