Daniel "Danny" Webster Proctor

Mr. Daniel “Danny” Webster Proctor, Jr., 67, of Twin City passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Pruitt Health of Swainsboro following an extended illness.

Mr. Proctor was born June 1, 1953 in Lyons to the late Daniel Webster Proctor, Sr., and Amanda Jean Lovett Proctor.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jimmy Proctor, Lloyd Proctor, Elton Proctor, Wayne Proctor and Virgil Rainey. Mr. Proctor enjoyed reading, especially his Bible and loved to be outdoors.  He was a free spirit.  Mr. Proctor was a member of Friendship Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sons, Danny ( Brittany) Proctor, III and Brad Proctor, both of Cairo; daughter, Jamie (Lloyd) Fortier of Statesboro; brothers, Gene (Becky) Rainey of Twin City; sisters, Edith (Felix) Gravidia of Hollywood, FL, Rita Lindsey of Swainsboro, Donna White of Twin City, 9 grandchildren; special nephew, John (Enola) Proctor, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Graveside Service will be Thursday, June 11, 2020 10 a.m. at El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Chaplain Franklin Sasser officiating.

In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6 feet rule will be enforced during viewing and service.
