Danny L. Altman

Mr. Danny L. Altman, 68, of Kite passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at University Hospital in Augusta following an extended illness.

Mr. Altman was born on May 5, 1951 in Swainsboro to the late Grady Sol Altman and Mary Alice Bryant Altman.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alvie Altman, Lanier Altman, Roger Altman; sisters, Oveta Martin, Laverna Jones, Matalice Altman. Mr. Altman loved to rebuild cars.  He enjoyed going to car shows, fishing, and watching old tv shows like Gunsmoke, Bonanza and Andy Griffith Show.  Mr Altman was an avid cat lover.  He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his sons, Todd Altman of Savannah, Mark Altman of Kite; daughters, Gail (Greg) Taylor of Wills Point, TX, Angie Lively of Statesboro, Barbara (Jeremy Loyd of Swainsboro; brother, Kenny Altman of East Point; sister, Betty Rodriquez of Wadley,; sister-in-law, Lena Altman of Swainsboro; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside Services will be Saturday, August 3, 2019 3:00 at Swainsboro City Cemetery with Reverend Ricky Downs officiating.

Visitation will be held at the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home  from 2:00 PM until time of graveside service.
