Mr. Danny B. Dykes, Jr.,58, of Douglasville passed away Thursday morning, March 23, 2017, at Wellstar Hospital Douglasville following an extended illness.
Mr. Dykes was born April 7, 1958 in Milan, Ga. to the late Dan Belvin Dykes and Cindy Hulett Gillis. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Dykes was an avid golfer and UGA Football Fan. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mr. Dykes had a big heart and tried to assist and support young people.
Survivors include his wife, Lori Farner Dykes formerly of Swainsboro; brother, Gary (Becky) Dykes of Vidalia; sister, Barbara Dykes Roberts of Chatsworth, Ga.; nieces and nephews, April Farner Parrish of Marietta, Ryan Farner and Kevin Farner both of St. Petersburg, FL., Macy Dykes and Taylor Dykes both of Vidalia, and Samantha Garland of Calhoun, Ga.
Graveside Services will be held at Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum 4p.m. Saturday afternoon, March 25, 2017 with Rev. Phil Wilson officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Haven Hills Therapeutic Riding Center 7480 Rivertown Rd. Fairburn, Ga. 30213.
