Danny Lamar Scarboro

Mr. Danny Lamar Scarboro, 66, of Stillmore passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Pruitt Health following an extended illness.

Mr. Scarboro was born January 26, 1956, in Swainsboro to George Scarboro, Jr. and Evelyn Pinkard Scarboro. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, George Scarboro, III. Mr. Scarboro enjoyed logging, hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved his family and would light up when his grandchildren came around.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Scarboro of Stillmore; son, Kevin Scarboro (Shirley) of Stillmore; daughter, Kristie Lively (John Ray) of Stillmore; grandchildren, Brooke Beckum (James Rich), Hunter Scarboro (Shiann), Taylor Scarboro, Samantha Hooks (Christopher), Sara Beth Scarboro; 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Private Graveside Service was held Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in Stillmore City Cemetery with Reverend Robert Beckum officiating.
