David Allen Collins

Mr. David Allen Collins, 63, of East Dublin, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. He was born on October 22, 1961, in Savannah. David was preceded in death by his father, Lester Woods; sister, Peggy Warnock, Shirley Beck; brothers Bobby Woods and Earl Woods.

He is survived by his companion, Annette Barfield of East Dublin; mother, Martha Ann Woods of Adrian; son, Preston Jones of Dellwood; daughter, Nikki Jones of Canoochee; brother, Dennis Collins of East Dublin; sisters, Theresa O’Berry of Adrian, Tammy Johnson (Alford) of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Pacey Fortescue, Kirsten Fortescue, Dixie David; great-granddaughter, Harper Fortescue; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

A private graveside service will be held at Little Ogeechee Baptist Church Cemetery.
