Mr. David Lee Edenfield, 74, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at his residence. He was born May 14, 1951, in Swainsboro to the late Luther M. Edenfield and Mattie Jean Edenfield. David was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Eddie Edenfield, Wayne Douglas, Bennie Douglas, Gary Douglas and Homer Douglas. He worked at Dairy Queen, Kellers, and Jet Food Stores in Sandersville. He was very good with numbers. David was an avid sports fan and loved to watch wrestling. He also loved the beach. David was a member of Mt. Shady Baptist Church.
Survivors include his fiancé, Pamela Edenfield; stepson, Jeremy Sellers; stepdaughter, Amber Stewart; brothers, James Edenfield, Mickey Douglas; sister, Teresa Douglas; 5 grandchildren: several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026, at Mt. Shady Baptist Church with Reverend Rusty Moore officiating.
Interment will be at Edenfield Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services.
The Pallbearers are Greg Phillips, Eddie Phillips, Tay Hooks, Jonathan Douglas, Daniel McCullah and Brian Douglas.
The honorary pallbearer will be Ronnie Turner.
