Mr. David Carl Moore, 46, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Emanuel Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mr. Moore was born May 10, 1970 in Blackshear, Ga. to Henry Carl (H. C.) Moore and Shirley Fulford Moore. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Moore loved fishing, racing, and being with his family. Mr. Moore was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley Moore of Lyons; wife, Sheila Moore of Swainsboro; sons, Tyler Moore (Desiree) of Swainsboro, Jordan Moore (Diana) of Lyons, and Jimmy Copeland III (Hannah) of Swainsboro; daughters, Delaney Moore (Matt Powell) of Lyons, Gloria Copeland (Sully Stevens) of Swainsboro, and Brianna Copeland of Swainsboro; sister, Julie Moore of Lyons; 10 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016 with Reverend Brad McKenzie officiating.
Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery in Alston, Ga.
Pallbearers are Kyle Morris, Larry Moore, Jason Moore, Larry Wilkerson, Sully Stevens, and Matt Moyer.
The family will receive friends from 11 am. to 1 pm. Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Chapman Funeral Home.
