Mr. David Daniel Newsome, 64, of Swainsboro died Saturday, November 20, 2010.
Mr. Newsome was a native of Emanuel County and was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Bessie Chapman Newsome, and brother, N. H. Newsome.
Survivors include his wife, Dolly Ann Newsome; son and daughter-in-law, Michael David and Missy Newsome, Kite; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Dave Akins, Twin City; grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Lauren Akins, and Lindsey Akins; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 11 o’clock Tuesday morning, November 23, with the Elder Tommy Rountree officiating. Burial will be in Eastbrook Cemetery, Swainsboro.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
