David Loydd Price

Mr. David Loydd Price, 79, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Price was born August 25, 1942, in Swainsboro to the late Eugene Price and Nora Sanders Price. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eugene Price; sister, Betty Elizabeth Beckham. Mr. Price loved playing tennis and watching the Georgia Bulldogs. He had a beloved dog, Bear. Mr. Price was a member of New Beginnings.

Survivors include his wife Peggy Mason Price of Swainsboro; daughters, Tammy Gene Price of Alabama, Teresa Wiley of Swainsboro; granddaughter, Paizley Price; step-great-grandchildren, Gannon Wiley, , Georgeann Wiley, Sydney Harris, Bristol Harris; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021, in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Price officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bithynia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Chapman Funeral Home.
