Mr. David R. Hutcheson, 62, of Adrian passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Hutcheson was a native of Emanuel County and was preceded in death by his parents, Buford Hutcheson and Melba Darley Hutcheson; wife, Sharon Hutcheson; brother, Bobby Hutcheson. Mr. Hutcheson worked in the grocery industry for 46 years.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Hutcheson of Adrian; son, Jason (Anthony) Hutcheson of Marietta; step-daughters, Lane (Jody) Underwood of Twin City and Kriston (Robert) Watkins of Rincon; sisters, Betty (Harvard) Hudson of Swainsboro, Sue (Jimmy) Murphy of Swainsboro, Shirley (Drone) Hudson of Swainsboro, Jan (Ronnie) Brantley of Adrian and Fay (Chesley) Flanders of Midville; brothers, Billy (Maudell) Hutcheson of Dublin, O. C. (Phyllis) Hutcheson of Adrian and Ray Hutcheson of Adrian; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Corinth Methodist Church at 2 o’clock Sunday, afternoon May 5, 2013 with Reverend Mark Harden officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Dion Hutcheson, Kevin Hutcheson, Tony Hutcheson, Mike Henry, Mitchell Powell, Matt Henry, Shannon Brantley and Chesley Flanders, Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers are nephews.
