Mrs. Deborah “Debbie” Wilson Johnson, 66, of Twin City passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 20, 1959, in Swainsboro to the late Edwin Larry Wilson and Alma Louise Wilson.
Debbie was a proud graduate of Emanuel County Institute. She went on to dedicate 30 years of her life to serving the State of Georgia in various capacities. Throughout her career, she earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues, who often described her as a dedicated, hardworking, and meticulous employee who took great pride in everything she did.
Outside of her professional life, Debbie was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She poured her heart into her family, always offering love, support, and encouragement in every way she could. Her family was the center of her world, and she found joy in every moment spent with them.

Deeply involved in her church and community, she lived to share the gospel with others and had a special gift for finding the silver lining in any situation.
