Ms. Debra Kellam Braswell, 57, of Swainsboro passed away Friday night, December 1, 2017 at Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness.
Ms. Braswell was born August 1, 1960 in Swainsboro, Ga. to John Fleming Kellam III and Lula Bell Radford Kellam. She was preceded in death by her father. Ms. Braswell loved painting, making flower arrangements, and especially loved her family and five dogs. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kite.
Survivors include her mother, Lula Bell Kellam of Kite; daughter, Nicole “Nikki” Braswell of Twin City; son, Cole Braswell (Amy) of Griffin; sister, Mary Duffy of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Laylah Braswell, and Elijah Braswell; nephew, Joe Duffy; caregiver, Phyllis Curl; extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2017 with Reverend Burton Dixon officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Cody Usry, Ryan McClaine, Lee Ogburn, Avery Duffy, Justin Hodges, and Ben Braswell
