Mrs. Debra Ann Giles, 63, of Swainsboro passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, at East Georgia Regional Hospital in Statesboro.
Debra was born January 22, 1961, to the late Carlos Hall and Natalie Doye. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Jaylen Chalker; and brother, Carloslyn Hall. Debra enjoyed needle craft, quilting and collecting all kinds of bears. She was a good cook. When she would leave your home, she would always say, “Let me get my child”, referring to her husband. She loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Giles of Swainsboro; children, Jamey (Jenni) Chalker of Swainsboro, Jeramie (Corrine) Chalker of Brandon, WI, Tina (Ray) McDaniel of Soperton, Missy Dean of Douglas, Allan (Linda) Giles of Vidalia, Jason (Tasha) Giles of East Dublin, Jenni Giles of Wrightsville; grandchildren, Alex, Cody, Emily, McKenzie, Courtney, Rebekah, Rhanen, Jared, Colby, Jacob, Jade Anna, Whitney, Aubury, Preston, Adalee, Atison, Jason, Jr., Jordyn, Annabelle, Leighton, Damien, Maci, Raya; great-grandchildren, Kai, Malachi, Easton, Rylee; brother, Dennis Hall of Swainsboro; sisters, Madelyne (Dale) Meeks, Teresa Hall; special friends, Mike & Glenda Gore; and many other friends.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 1, 2024, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Morris Brantley officiating.
