Delores Iris (Caro) Leonard

Mrs. Delores Iris Leonard, 62, of Harrison, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025, at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born in Stuttgart, Germany on January 25, 1963, to the late, Buddy Caro and Elsie Chestnut McGuirt.  Delores was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John Leonard.  She enjoyed working with her rose bushes, going to the beach and hunting.

She is survived by her son, Darrell Parks (Shannon) of Dallas; daughter, Mellissa Castleberry of Athens, TN; sisters, Darlene Salinas (Jay) of Cartersville, Lisa Maze, Beth Rutherford, both of Commerce, Carla Caro of Alabama, Cheryl Chestnut of Florida; grandchildren, Haley Varville, Dawson Parks, Lucas Varville, Isabel Parks, Olivia Castleberry, Dax Parks; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
