Mrs. Denice C. Lamb, 50, of Swainsboro passed away Monday, September 30, 2024, at Memorial Health in Savannah. She was born in Kentucky on January 19, 1974 to the late Gladys Marie Chandler and William Rollie Cox. Denice was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tommy Curtis.
She was a mother, sister, and loving wife. Denice was a friend to many and loved by all who knew her. She was an amazing caregiver to those that needed assistance. Her heart and soul were equally if not more beautiful than her appearance. She lit up any room. Denice was in with just a smile and that sparkle in her eyes. She will be greatly missed by every one that encountered her! We can all find peace in knowing that she is at her eternal home in heaven.
She is survived by her husband, Joey Lamb of Swainsboro; daughter, Lisa M. Thompson of Jacksonville, FL; son, Seth Thompson of Swainsboro; brother, James Kidwell (Cindy) of Aiken, SC; other extended family members and many friends.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Curt Grimm officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:00 prior to the service.
The family is requesting no flowers or memorial trees. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Blue Chip Club in support of AA and NA at PO Box 484, Swainsboro, GA 30401.
