Mr. Derrick Lynn Hall, 31, of Norristown died Sunday night, May 27, 2012 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta following an extended illness.
Mr. Hall was born in Swainsboro and a life long residence of Emanuel County. His favorite past time was rabbit, coon, and deer hunting. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rufus and Artie Nell Edenfield, and Carlos E. and Natalie Hall. Mr. Hall was of the Church Of God faith.
Survivors include his parents, Carlos and Patsy Edenfield Hall of Norristown; brothers, Chris Hall of Swainsboro, Michael Dobson of Swainsboro; sister, Jennifer Lynn (Nathan) Smith of Sandersville; two nieces; two nephews; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends
Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2 o’clock Wednesday, afternoon May 30, 2012 with Reverend Allen Meeks officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Norristown.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Chalker, Ashley Pollett, Ray McDaniel, Wayne Edenfield, Waylon Edenfield, Mitch Proctor, Justin Edenfield and Will Newsome
Honorary pallbearers are Steven Edwards, Gene Thompson, David Beasley and Dusty King.
