Mrs. Dollie Tyson, 88 passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 after a brief illness at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach, FL.
Ms. Dollie, as she was known to friends, was born in Emanuel County, GA. to Joseph Lee (Leon) Lamb and Annie TD Lamb.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe C. Tyson of Fellsmere.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Smith (Ralph) of Ormond Beach, FL, son, Sam Tyson (Kathy) of Saint Marys, GA and son, Dennis Tyson (Pennie) of Sebastian, FL. Survivors also include twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Sebastian River Baptist Church, 1117 US Highway 1, Sebastian, FL on Sunday, October 2, 2016. There will be a visitation at the church from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM followed by a Funeral service beginning at 4:00 PM with Rev. William Ruehman, Jr., officiating.
Local services will be held in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Joe Bedgood officiating.
Interment will follow in the Moxley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Chapman Funeral Home.
