Mr. Domenic Maglioli, 98, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 21, 2017 at Pruitt Health Swainsboro following an extended illness.
Mr. Maglioli was born January 14, 1919 in Warwick, Rhode Island to the late Michael Maglioli and Michelena Santilli Maglioli. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Celia Santilli. Mr. Maglioli Loved working in the yard, traveling, fishing, and the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. He especially loved his family and eating Louise’s apple pie. Mr. Maglioli was a member of the Swainsboro Moose Lodge. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Maglioli of Swainsboro; son, Michael Maglioi (Leanne) of Athens; step-sons, Terry Luke (Karen) and Randy Scarboro both of Charleston, SC.; daughters, Louise Johnson of Athens, Linda Cataldo of Rhode Island; step-daughter, Judy Glover of Kite; sister, Mary Fortin of Rhode Island; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren n.; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2017.
