Mr. Donald Lee “Don” Bedgood, 63, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016.
Mr. Bedgood was born September 2, 1952 in Milledgville, GA. to the late Ferman Bedgood and Gladys Henry Armstrong. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Billy Wayne Bedgood, and Jimmy Bedgood; step-father, Curtis Jasper Armstrong. Mr. Bedgood loved fishing, gardening, turkey shoots, and sports.
Survivors include his sons, Josh (Felisha) Bedgood of Swainsboro, Chris (Diedra) Bedgood, of Swainsboro, William Bedgood of Atlanta, Brian Bedgood of Dublin; daughters, Nikki Bedgood of Swainsboro,Erin Bedgood (Dee) Akridge of Swainsboro, Margaret Bedgood (Ronnie) Watson of Swainsboro; brother, Jerry (Denise) Bedgood of Adrian; 19 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Dellwood Baptist Church 11:00 A.M. Monday morning, May 2, 2016 with Reverends Joe Bedgood and John Strickland officiating. Mr Bedgood will lie in state one hour prior to service.
Interment will follow in the Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5pm. to 7pm. Sunday afternoon, May 1, 2016 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Rick Marsh, Rhett Lermy, Matt Holt, Jon Black, Kenton Landon, and B.J. Bedgood.
Honorary Pallbearers are Blake Marsh, James Marsh, Buddy Marsh, David Marsh, Dee Akridge, and James Rich.
