Donna Hendrix

Ms. Donna Hendrix, 62, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Emanuel County Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Ms. Hendrix was born December 5, 1959, in Swainsboro to Raymond Hendrix, Jr. and Vivian Hudson Hendrix. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Stephen Hudson Hendrix, Timothy Wayne Hendrix, Andrew Blake Hendrix. Ms. Hendrix graduated class of 1977 from David Emanuel Academy and went on to attend both Swainsboro Technical School and East Georgia College. She worked as a paralegal in Swainsboro and the surrounding areas. Before MS struck her body, she enjoyed playing her black, baby grand piano, drawing, painting, going to the beach, and making memories with her children. She loved the holidays – Christmas was always her favorite. She had a heart for animals and was a member of ASPCA. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her children, Jennifer Price Kelly (Demones), Ryan Price (Kim), and Brittan Kendall, all of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Charsley and Tyler Kelly, both of Swainsboro, Harper Kendall of Millen; sisters-in-law, Judy Hendrix of Swainsboro, Jean Hendrix of Cleveland; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.
