Mr. Donnie Farrow, 61, of Summertown died early Thursday morning, October 3, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Farrow was born in Swainsboro to the late Freeman Farrow and Sarah Johnson Farrow. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Farrow; brother, Wendell Farrow. Mr. Farrow loved hunting, fishing and being with his family. He was employed with Bowen Tree Service for 15 years and was owner of Donnie’s Lawn Care. He attended Hines Primitive Baptist Church near Midville.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Parker Farrow of Summertown; daughter, Donna (John) Brannen of Statesboro; step-daughter, Robin Parker of Mississippi; step-son Dalton Archer of Augusta; brother, Ronnie Farrow of Wrightsville; sisters, Nita (Bonnie) Daughtry of Statesboro, Reba Bennett of Millen, Annette (Glynn) Rogers of Wrightsville and Betty Farrow of Statesboro; grandchildren, Meghin Miller and Michael Miller, Jr. both of Twin City, Logan Brannen of Statesboro; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 11:00 o’clock Saturday morning, October 5, 2013 with Pastor Butch Taylor officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening, October 4, 2013 at Chapman Funeral Home.
