Mrs. Earnestine Marsh Rich, 64, of Swainsboro passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Emanuel Medical Center from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
Mrs. Rich was born December 28, 1949 in Metter to the late Earnest Marsh and Jewel Brown Marsh. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Earnest Rich; sister, Hilda Rich. Mrs. Rich was a life long resident of Emanuel County. She loved flowers, doing puzzle books, and volunteering at her church. Mrs. Rich loved being with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was a member of New Beginnings Worship Center.
Survivors include her sons, William (Kim) Rich, Steve (Lisa) Rich and Curtis (Carrie) Rich all of Swainsboro; daughters, Glenda (Randy) Wilkerson, Marie (KB) Brown, Whitney (Scott) Joiner all of Swainsboro and Terrie (Leonard) Headrick of Dublin; sisters, Vicki (Sam) Hall of Durham NC, Ruby Rich of Baxley and Mary Bohannon of Dublin; 23 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the New Beginnings Worship Center at 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon, March 26, 2015 with Reverend Tim Price officiating.
Interment will follow in the Eastbrook Cemetery near Swainsboro.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening, March 25, 2015 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Rich, Harrison Pitts, David Smith, Alan Scarboro, Billy Price, Coty Barwick, Dwayne Hart and Justin Hart.
