Ed Willie Carswell

Mr. Ed Willie Carswell, 57, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Carswell was born March 18, 1965, in Swainsboro to Eddie Lee Carswell and Julia Mae Hughes. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Joseph Carswell; sisters, Rosie Carswell, JoAnn Hill.

He is survived by his son, Curtis Tarver of Swainsboro; daughter, Starkela Carswell of Dallas, TX; mother, Julia H. Carswell of Swainsboro; brothers, Dock Carswell (Angie) of Swainsboro, Jimmie Carswell of Atlanta, John Carswell of Seattle, WA, Eddie Carswell, Jr. of Augusta; sisters, Brenda Mack of Millen, LaShonda Waters of Sylvania, Frankie Carswell of Statesboro, Betty King of Twin City, Mary Oglesby (Michael) of Canoochee, Annie Hill (London), Tarra Carswell, and Julia Carswell, all of Swainsboro; 6 grandchildren, a host nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Graveside Service will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Swainsboro City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.
