Mr. Ed White,III, 68, of Millen passed away Wednesday night, September 14, 2016 at his residence following a brief illness.
Mr. White was born April 10, 1948 in Greenville, SC. to the late Edwin C. White, Jr. and Katherine Garrett White. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Lydia Garrett. Mr. Ed and Mrs. Betty married in 2002 in Fountain Inn, SC., and in 2009 they relocated to Millen. Mr. White loved hunting, fishing, racing, and especially loved his family. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Betty J. White of Millen; sons, John Caleb White of Greenville, SC., Glen (Wanda) McKenzie of Swainsboro; daughters, Kimberly Miller of Fountain Inn SC., Angelia (Jeff) Wren of Swainsboro, Tammie (Bobby) Conley of Kite; sister, Katherine Bright of Fountain Inn, SC.; 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, September 17, 2016 with Reverends Tim Nary and Arthur Conley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon, September 17, 2016 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are B.J. Conley, Christopher Henry, Bobby Conley, Bill Hackle, Jeff Wren, and William Coleman, Jr..
