Mr. Eddie Walker, 77, passed away on October 4, 2026, at PruittHealth Swainsboro.
Eddie was born in 1949 and was the oldest of seven children. He was a jokester, always smiling and laughing, but he would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing or watching westerns.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Thomas Walker, Bobby Walker, Willie Paul Banner, Jimmy Banner, and Brenda Ann Banner.
He is survived by his son, Rashard (Simone) Walker; daughter, Vanisha Reid; his stepchildren, James (Latrice) Myers, Harrison (Edna) Pierce, Jennifer (Craig) Jones, and Tiffany (Kendrick) Devouil; brother, Larry (Sade) Banner; sisters, Wanda Jean (David) Black, Velva Hamilton; 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 11:00am at God's Holy Tabernacle, at 398 Parrish Pond Rd., Twin City, GA 30471, with Pastor Amos Handsom Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lester Branch, Fred Daughtry, and Sean Gilligan.
