Mr. Edwin Charlton Claxton, 64, unexpectedly passed peacefully from this life the morning of September 22nd 2016. He is survived by his oldest son Eric Charlton Claxton of Atlanta, Georgia and ex-wife Ms. Cynthia Sheppard Claxton, Edwin was proceeded in death by his father Mr. Comer Charlton Claxton, mother, Merle Hall Claxton, youngest son Mr. Corey Ryan Morris Claxton, as well as various cousins, friends and family members.
In life, Edwin was commonly referred to by family & friends as Ed. He was an avid huntsman and fisherman, gardener, collector of oddities. He was known for always having a smile and big hug for everyone that he came in contact with. Edwin was a dutiful son, devoted father to two sons, and loyal friend. He will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1st 2016 at 11:00am. Location: Gumlog Baptist Church, Swains Creek Road. Kite, Georgia. 31049.
