Elaine Maria Thiry

Mrs. Elaine Maria Thiry, 84, of Swainsboro passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Newark, New Jersey on November 14, 1940, to Benjamin Granito and Jeanette Giordano Granito. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Stephen Joseph Thiry; sisters, Arlene, Joyce, Joann.

Mrs. Thiry is survived by her daughters, Judith Giordano (Julio Santiago) of Swainsboro, Michelle Freeman of Lewiston Maine, Kim Kelly; special granddaughters, Cora Bergstrom (Mike), Kelly Nash; great granddaughter, Annalise Bergstrom; 6 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; special friend for many years, Bill Myers of Blossburg, PA; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
