Mr. Elmer Gene Hall,73, of Kite passed away Wednesday morning, March 22, 2017, at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Hall was born April 18, 1943 in Stillmore, Ga. to the late Ben Hall and Claudie McGowen Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Louise Webb, and Lucille Wilkerson; brothers, J.B. Hall, Eddie Lee Hall, and Billy Hall. Mr. Hall had an automotive mechanics, and a C.D.L. certification from Swainsboro Technical College, he also was a Boy Scout Leader. He loved spending time with his family, enjoyed singing country music, and loved writing poetry that was published twice. He was a member of the Machine Printers and engravers union.
Survivors include his wife, Cassandra Hall of Kite; sons, Casey D. (Betsy) Hall of Jacksonville, Fl., and Jason N. Hall of Kite; daughter, Haley C. Hall of Dublin; brother, T.J. Hall of Macon; 7 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Williams Chapel Baptist Church 11a.m. Friday morning, March 24, 2017 with Reverends Franklin Sasser and Lamar Kersey officiating. Mr. Hall will lie in state one hour prior to service.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8p.m. Thursday afternoon, March 23, 2017 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Jonathan Gladin, Ronald Walker, Ricky Hall, Ray McKinzie, Frank McKinzie, and Larry Gladin.
