Emily Crane Fennell, 88, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, at Pruitt Health Nursing Home. She was born on November 25, 1936, in Moxley, to the late Ramsey Wesley Crane and Anna Isabel Boulineau Crane.
In her younger years, Emily liked sewing and computers. She turned her talent into a career of 30 years as a sewing machine operator at Delila Manufacturing Company. As time passed, her focus shifted to what mattered most in life, spending moments with her family and beloved pets. She cherished her greatest joy of being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Emily also loved the simple pleasures in life, coffee and vanilla ice cream were two of her favorites.
Mrs. Fennell is survived by her daughter, Shannon (Tim) Williams; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Mrs. Fennell is preceded in death by her parents, and special cousin, M.D. Crane.
