Mr. Eustus O. Perkins, 78, of Swainsboro passed away Friday night, December 22, 2017 at Community Hospice in Vidalia following and extended illness.
Mr. Perkins was born August 30, 1939 in Swainsboro to the late Horace Perkins and Dorothy Boatright Perkins. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gloria Riggins Perkins; brothers, Eulus Perkins and Steve Perkins. Mr. Perkins was a member of Morning Side Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons, Larry Perkins (Julie) of Swainsboro, and Gary Perkins of Okeechobee, FL.; brothers, Eulie Perkins (Ethel) of Springfield, Alec Perkins of Canoochee; sister, Dorothy Gibson of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Victoria Waters (Matthew), Jake Perkins, Gary Perkins, Jr., Steve Perkins, Terry Coxwell (Wayne), Jessica Mason, and Mark Perkins; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 with Reverends Louis Pearce and Ronnie Collins officiating.
Interment will follow in the Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Joey Gibson, Jody Gibson, Daryl Hill, Ronnie Phillips, Terry Phillips, and Joseph Gibson.
Honorary Pallbearers are Troy Phillips, Jeff Henry, and Douglas Braddy.
