Faye Galbreath

Ms. Faye Galbreath, 76, of Swainsboro passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness.

Ms. Galbreath was born December 9, 1941 in Swainsboro, Ga. to the late Allen Floyd Webb and Ida Bell Scarboro Webb. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Floyd Allen Webb; sisters, Cillion Hutcheson, Francis Nicholeson, Katie Nicholes, Nettie Pearl Page, Audrey Lee, and Beverly Jones; great-grandson, Logon Wade Dukes. Ms. Galbreath was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her sons, Darrel Dukes of Nunez and Elbert Cannady, Jr. of Swainsboro; daughter, Kimmie Dukes of Swainsboro; sister, Mattie Lou Claxton (Jimmy); grandchildren, Benjamin Dukes, Charlie Stalnaker, Michaela Wilkerson, Kolbie Cannady, and Courtney Wilkerson; great-grandchildren, Summer Wilkerson, Oakley Faye Wilkerson, Riot Smith, Kai Hofer, and Aurora Dukes; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 with Reverend Joe Bedgood officiating.

Interment will follow in Bithynia Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.
