Faye (Hall) Morris

Mrs. Faye Hall Morris, 87, of Kite passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Greenwood Place Assisted Living in Wrightsville following an extended illness.

Mrs. Morris was born February 7, 1935, in Wrightsville to Grady Hall and Mattie Lou Logue Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harrison Morris; brothers, Jewell Hall and Alden Hall. Mrs. Morris loved keeping children and was a mother to many. She loved to cook and was the glue that held her family together. Mrs. Morris was a member of Kite Church of God for over 30 years.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Morris (Janis) and Phil Morris (Jennifer), both of Kite; daughter, Patricia Claxton of Kite; grandchildren, Crystal Hammock (Eric), Nichole Evans (Michael), Stefany Franklin (William), Rhiana Morris, Charlie Morris; sisters, Nell Davis of Kite, Barbara Wilson of Swainsboro; 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Mr. Randy Buxton officiating.

Interment will follow in Kite City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be William Franklin, Jerry Hall, Dylan Hall, Eric Hammock, and Braylon Roberson.
