Florine (Marsh) Rich

Mrs. Florine Marsh Rich, 84, of Swainsboro passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Emanuel County Nursing Home following an extended illness. Florine was born March 6, 1940, in Twin City to the late Fred Marsh and Elyce Rachels Marsh. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford Rich; daughter, Florence Monroe; sister, Joyce Moore; brother, Gerald Marsh. She enjoyed talking on the phone to friends and family and watching soap operas. Florine was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Florine is survived by her brother, Robert Marsh (Cindy) of Swainsboro; sister, Molly McNeely of Swainsboro; stepdaughter, Wanda Chavis of Kite; four grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services.

Interment will follow in Swainsboro City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Atkinson, George Jones, David Smith, Ashton DeLoach, Justin Rogers, and Richard Braddy.
