Mrs. Frances Hammock Palmore, 74, of Swainsboro passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Palmore was born March 17, 1946 in Swainsboro to the late Euria Hammock and Mattie Mae Scott Hammock. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Palmore retired from Spivey Bank after working there for 40 years. She loved spending time with her grandkids. Mrs. Palmore loved reading, watching The Young and the Restless, and playing word searches. She was a member of the Pilot Club and Methodist Women. Mrs. Palmore attended and was a member at Calvary United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Boyd Palmore of Swainsboro; son, Kevin (Alivia) Palmore of Swainsboro; daughter, Denise (Chris) Wilkerson of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Laura Wilkerson, Wesley Wilkerson, Meagan Palmore, Sara Palmore, Tyler Palmore; and many friends.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 5, 2020 11:00 a.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church with Reverends Hugh Baxter, Mark Hardin and Steve Sirmans officiating.
Interment will follow at Swainsboro City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 4, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.
In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6 feet rule will be enforced during visitation and service.
