TIFTON-Mrs. Frances Randall Gorham Stramoski, 81, of Tifton, died Friday, January 16, 2015, at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 20 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors, Tifton, Georgia with Rev. Stephen Webb and Rev. Benjy Varnell officiating. Interment will follow at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday in Eastbrook Cemetery, 1082 U.S. Hwy. 80 E., Swainsboro, GA 30401. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at Albritton Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Stramoski’s grandsons, David Kask, Nick Kask, Bryan Roberts, Alan Roberts, Chris Aldrich, Travis Aldrich and Andrew Thompson will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Stramoski was born March 23, 1933 in Columbus to the late Alfred Andrew Randall and Lillian Inez Cox Randall. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. Jack I. Gorham who died in 1967, her second husband, Wesley Stramoski who died in 2008 and her brother, Edwin Eugene Randall.
Mrs. Stramoski lived in Tifton since 2012 and was a former resident of Swainsboro. She was a homemaker and a former cashier for Wal-Mart. Mrs. Stramoski was a wonderful minister’s wife. While living in Swainsboro, she was actively involved with the Swainsboro Senior Center. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Tifton. Mrs. Stramoski was an animal lover especially cats and dogs and often rescued stray animals. She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed singing, reading, sewing and loved to tell stories.
Survivors include, three daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda G. and Dr. Don Roberts of Tifton, Inez and Dan Kask of Guyton and Jackie and Lamar Flanders of Cataula; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Earle and Pat Stramoski of Durham, NC, David and Vickie Gorham of Metter and Andy and Robin Gorham of New Albany, OH; fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
